I built a Linux Car PC!


Software:

- Fedora 14
- GPS navigation via navit
- Xchat for IRC'ing on the road
- Rhythmbox
- Caribou soft keyboard

Hardware:
- Intel D945GCLF2D motherboard(dual core atom CPU)
- Some cheap USB GPS dongle I got off eBay
- 32GB internal SSD for operating system and maps
- 60GB USB SSD for music/movies
- 2GB DDR2
- Internet connectivity is achieved by tethering my Nokia N900(T-mobile)
- Audio out from RCA port to RCA AUX in on a Pioneer DEH-P5900IB
